Choosing your store and pickup vs. delivery

How to pick your Kroger store by zip code, switch to a different store, and what happens when you check out.

How to pick your Kroger store by zip code, switch to a different store, and what happens when you check out.

After you connect your Kroger account, Forkless asks for a zip code and shows nearby stores in your Kroger banner family.

Each store entry shows:

  • Store name
  • Street address, city, state, zip
  • Distance from the zip you entered

Pick one and tap Confirm store. Forkless saves it for next time.

You can change your store anytime — visiting in-laws across the state, moved last month, or your usual store is out of half your list. Open the cart flow and re-run the store picker with a new zip code.

Switching stores doesn’t affect your meal plan or grocery list. It only changes where the cart gets sent. Item availability can shift between stores — a recipe ingredient that was in stock at one location might not be at another. If something isn’t available at the new store, Kroger surfaces it during the cart-send and Forkless walks you through the recovery options.

Forkless sends items to your Kroger cart. Once the items land, you choose pickup or delivery on Kroger.com (or in the Kroger app) when you check out. Forkless doesn’t set the fulfillment method — that decision happens on Kroger’s side.

Kroger sets all pickup and delivery fees at checkout. Forkless doesn’t add any fees of its own. Whatever Kroger charges — pickup minimums, delivery base fees, Boost member discounts — is between you and Kroger at checkout. We don’t surface those numbers in Forkless because they vary by store, order size, and your Kroger membership status.
